            Ad-hoc email.  An email that is sent by someone with the authority to do so that is not
            an incident, news item or event.
        
       
            Administrator.  A person who has access to the setup functionality on the website
        
        
            Area Map.  A map on the contacts page where a user may find their street and zone.
        
        
            Author.  A person that may add and edit content on the website.  
            There are many different types of author managing different types of content.

            while you are viewing the web site. These pieces of information allow the web site

            are widgets that present information contained elsewhere on the website or on an alternate website.

            Password. A word that should be known only to you that enables you to logon

            Patrol  The act of a resident travelling the area to identify and report 
            any suspicious activity.  
        
        
            Patroller  A resident travelling the area to identify and report any suspicious
            activity.  The patroller is an eyes and ears resource only.
        
        
            Patrol Manager.  A person that manages patrollers in his area on the website
        
        
            Patrol Administrator.  A person that may manage patrollers in any area on the website.
        
        
            Periodic Communication. An email that is sent either weekly or monthly to
            those people that have requested this in their profile. The content of the email
            is dependant upon their profile settings.
        
        
            Profile. Your profile determines how you interact with the website (via roles set by an administrator) 
            and the preferences you set within the

            Secondary Contact.  A person who your neighbours, or a member of the organisation, 
            may contact in the event they cannot contact you in an emergency.
        
        
            Street Coordinator. 
            A street coordinator may be known by a different name in your area.  Essentially they 
            are the organisation representative in the street you reside and assist members with various aspects of the organisation.
            They may also pass along organisation communications, emails etc, to members that do not have email.

            Username.  The name you use to login which is your identity on the website.  This name cannot be changed once you have registered.

            Web Browser.  A program on a computer that allows a person to view a page
            on a website, amongst other things.
        
        
            Web Server.  A computer that holds one or more, typically many hundreds, of websites and is
            connected to the internet.
        
        
            Website.  A set of formatted pages hosted on a web server and used as a 
            means of conveying information to a person using a computer 
            or other suitable device.

            Zone. A logical grouping of streets in an area with the purpose of 
            making that area's membership administration more manageable.  Ideally, a zone
            should consist of around 250-300 houses, though some larger organisations may make this considerably more 
            whilst a small watch may only have one zone comprising their entire organisation.
            
        
        
            Zone Coordinator. A zone coordinator may be known by a different name
            in your area. Essentially they are the organisation representative in the zone you reside
            and assist street coordinators with various aspects of the organisdation.
            Zone coordinators are also usually committee members, though do not necessarilly neeed to be.
